Privacy Policy

Audeo is built to work entirely on your device. This page explains what that means in plain language.

What we collect

Nothing. Audeo does not have an account system, does not require a login, and does not send any of your practice data, settings, or voice recordings off your device.

What stays on your device

Your training progress (which notes you've practiced and how accurately), your streak and daily counts, your settings (language, deck, sounds, haptics), and any crash diagnostics Apple's built-in MetricKit has delivered. All of this is stored locally and can be cleared at any time from Settings.

Microphone

Audeo listens for you to say the name of the note during a session. The audio is processed on-device by Apple's speech recognition (when possible) and is never recorded to a file, uploaded, or shared.

Analytics

Off by default. You can turn on local-only counters in Settings (sessions started, questions answered, etc.) which are stored on your device so you can see your own usage. They are never sent anywhere and you can clear them at any time.

Crash reports

Audeo uses Apple's MetricKit to receive a short summary of crashes and hangs the day after they happen. These summaries are stored locally on your device. They contain no user content and are never sent to us or any third party.

Purchases

Audeo offers optional in-app purchases (subscriptions and a lifetime unlock). All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID account. Audeo does not receive, store, or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). Your purchase status (whether you are a premium user) is stored locally on your device.

Children

Audeo has no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no social features. It is safe to use with children.

Third parties

None. Audeo does not include any third-party SDKs that collect data.
